The Thyrm® SwitchBack® for Cloud Defensive MCH adds a multi-functional finger ring and rugged pocket clip to your handheld flashlight. It mounts securely between the flashlight back cover and body, provides a repeatable grip index when deployed from a pocket or holster, and improves ergonomics when shooting or searching.

The Thyrm® SwitchBack® for Cloud Defensive MCH includes new features and enhancements based on thousands of hours of use by Thyrm® professionals and customers. SwitchBack® mounts between the back cover and the body of your flashlight, making it safe regardless of impact, moisture, and heat/cold changes.
SwitchBack® can be used with handguns or long guns. It allows the user to:
- Reliably deploy and index the flashlight from pockets and pouches with the SwitchBack®'s firm but releasable locking ring.
- Shoot using a natural two-handed grip (SwitchBack technique).
- Use all traditional low-light techniques such as Neck Index, Modified FBI and Harries.
- Positively maintain light while drawing the weapon, reloading, and clearing malfunctions.
SwitchBack® provides fast deployment and improved retention in many activities such as climbing, hiking, car and home maintenance, and self-defense.
Thyrm® SwitchBack® for MCH Cloud Defensive:
- A ring on the finger that releases under high force/torque but can be reset.
- A sturdier pocket clip that also works with MOLLE/PALS webbing.
- A pocket position that allows for a slightly deeper carry than the SwitchBack® Large (original).
- A tubular section that is cut lower to allow for gripping on both sides of the back cover during installation.
- Wider thumb rest with traction features.
